Cancer survivor turned
root-cause practitioner.
When I was diagnosed with cancer, I was told “there is no known cause.”
So I set out to find answers.
What I learned led me down the rabbit hole of root causes — the accumulation of stressors that inhibit the body's ability to heal itself.
My root causes go as far back as I can remember. But when I was 19, my body went from subtle signs to screaming for help. I became debilitatingly weighed down by fatigue & brain fog.
Doctors said “there's nothing wrong,” “it's in your head,” “monitor energy expenditures wisely” — and that was it. There was no conversation about how to reverse my symptoms, only how to manage them.
As time passed, no matter how clean I ate or how routinely I exercised, I was never really healthy. Leaving my root causes unaddressed progressed to something that couldn't be ignored — cancer at 26.
It was at my health's rock bottom that I found what I wish I had known years earlier.
And this is what I have built my practice around.
